Biography

Karis Beaumont is a British-born Jamaican photographer & creative director from Hertfordshire.

Known for her signature brown tones & emotive style, her work primarily centres on documenting and highlighting beauty & culture beyond a Western gaze. Within these themes, Beaumont strives for her visual storytelling to provide viewers a sense of discovery while responsibly emphasising community within her subjects. Her ability to capture intimacy, nuance and authenticity is revered & distinct. 

Beaumont is the founder of Bumpkin Files, a documentation, archive and community resource centred around Black life in Britain beyond the London-centric narrative.
