Biography

Karis Beaumont is a British-born Jamaican photographer & creative director from Hertfordshire.

Known for her signature brown tones & emotive style, her work primarily explores beauty & culture. Within these themes, Beaumont emphasises the nuances, authenticity and community within her subjects. Her ability to capture intimacy is revered & distinct, and achieves this with both digital & film.

Beaumont is the founder of Bumpkin Files, a documentation, archive and community resource centred around Black life in Britain beyond the London-centric narrative.
